Founder and Principal Researcher
I’m a researcher, writer, moderator, and facilitator.
A connector and a noticer.
A chatty introvert.
Through all my work, I’m focused on the art of asking good questions.
Before starting my own consultancy, I led past lives as an African historian — researching and teaching in a number of contexts — as a public health communications specialist, and as an editor.
In those lives as well as today, I’m in my element when I’m facilitating conversations, sparking insights, following my curiosities to learn new things, and culling details into a cohesive story and action plan to share.
Harnessing my PhD-level research skills, I bring my linguistic and cultural competencies to each project. I’m fluent in French and Spanish and have lived in South America, Europe, and West Africa. I currently live outside of Boston, USA with my daughter.
I’ve long been fascinated by cultural nuances, grammar, research methods, language, urban planning, architecture, personal finance, and libraries. These days, I’m thinking a lot about building communities with intention as well as being reflective and efficient with time and workflow. To that end, I facilitate workshops on work-life alignment. I write regularly on my research blog and my solopreneur newsletter.
Outside of work, you’ll find me traveling, reading, running, playing music, going to museums, and hiking.
